Hot water temperatures up to 75°C
Many older homes still use radiators that require a hot water temperatures of 65°C or higher to effectively heat rooms. The new EHS Monobloc R290 is capable of consistently delivering hot water up to 75°C for domestic heating purposes. As such, it can be a heating system replacement solution for older homes that relied on gas boilers for their heating needs.
Designed to Work with R290
The EHS Monobloc R290 has a much lower global warming potential (GWP) compared to other refrigerants. Onlythree. New EU regulations on fluorinated gases require refrigerants not to exceed a GWP of 150 from 2025. With the ERS Monobloc R290, Samsung is offering an improved and futureproof environmental solution for residential environments compared to other solutions using other refrigerants. The EHS Monobloc R290 uses R290 as the refrigerant instead of the R32 refrigerant that is still commonly used. Since R290 refrigerant is being used, the internal components of the unit have been adapted compared to those of a normal monobloc heat pump. These adaptations justify the separation of the R290 refrigerant from the rest of the system.
Smart Connectivity
SmartThings Energy offers the best home energy management systems and delivers real energy savings by providing key insights, energy-saving automations and support to help users achieve a net zero home. Once connected, users can monitor their energy usage and potentially reduce their energy consumption with energy-saving mode.
The high temperature and low noise heat pump
With a combination of innovative noise reduction technologies, the EHS Monobloc HT Quiet operates quietly with noise levels as low as 35 d(BA), using a 4-step silent mode. The outdoor unit of this heat pump features a double-layer sound insulation system, equipped with the patented Groove Grid Felt design, which effectively blocks and absorbs noise produced by compression parts and vibrations.
